Elín Elísabet (1992) is an artist working across multiple creative fields. She first arrived in Borgarfjörður eystri in 2011, by chance, after getting a job at the local fish factory — an experience that sparked a lasting connection to the place. She has been a frequent visitor ever since, often shaping her creative projects to work from here. Elín primarily paints en plein air, most often working on site at Álfaborg — the prominent rocky hill that borders the village.
