Úlfur Logason

Úlfur Logason (b.1997 in Akureyri) is a painter based in Berlin. He is a recent graduate of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. In his paintings, drawings, and large scale murals, he is inspired by the symbolic and allegorical languages often found in art history. Úlfur deals with the tradition of history painting as it relates to the visual language of contemporary image cultures. Recently, his works have been shown at the Akureyri Art Museum, B10b, Düsseldorf, Kayemes apartment, New York, and Villa de Bank, Enschede.
